Clr Jacob Mafume Elected New Harare Mayor

Harare City Council’s Ward 17 councillor and the Human Resources Committee Chairperson Clr Jacob Mafume (43) was yesterday elected new Harare mayor. He defeated Clr Luckson Mukunguma in an election conducted at the Town House.

Covid-19: Local Authorities Take Delivery Of Water Storage Tanks

Towns To Get Water Tanks For Covid-19 Isolation Centres

Under the UCAZ-GIZ partnership, GIZ, an arm of the Germany government, is providing 43 water tanks with a capacity of 5000 litres each to 17 local authorities. The tanks will be installed at 24 Isolation centres in urban local authorities. The 32 urban local authorities have among them a total of 24 isolation centres.
