Objectives:
1. Review of current co-operation arrangement between Urban Councils and ZETDC Planning Section.
2. To develop a National Electrification Strategy for all suburbs, industry and commercial properties in the Urban Councils.
3. Incorporate all Urban Councils into the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI) and ensure co-operation and sharing of data.
4. Come up with a firm strategy of managing and sharing servitudes across all service providers to ensure there is no damage to cables and equipment.
5. Establish Public Lighting (Traffic Signals) Road Map.
6. Establish Demand Side Management (DSM) and Energy Efficiency Road Map to assist Councils cut or optimize energy costs.
7. Set up a co-operation strategy for Solar Pumping or Complementary Supplies.

Outputs:
1. 2024 National Urban Council new connection schedule and shape files. Confirmation of the 440,000 new connections. Date for training and workshop on the SDI.
2. Wayleave and servitude guidelines.
3. Demand Side Management and Energy Efficiency Road Map.
4. Solar Pumping / Complimentary Power Supply Road Map.
5. Public Lighting (& Traffic Signals) Road Map
