The Shurugwi Youth Indaba has organized the Shurugwi Youth Expo under the theme “EMBRACING YOUTH EMPOWERMENT FOR VISION 2030” where various stakeholders, training institutions, employers, service providers, youth in various sectors and young entrepreneurs are expected to come together to showcase, network and share information.

The youth expo will be held at Tongogara Association Hall, Shurugwi from the 28th to the 29th of October 2022 and hundreds of young people will be invited to visit the exhibition stands on the day. Government departments, training institutions, uniformed forces, health service providers, civic society, young farmers, young entrepreneurs, youths in arts and culture are expected to be some of the exhibitors.

Minister of Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation and the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution –
Midlands Province, are expected to grace the event.

The objectives of the expo are;
• To facilitate networking among youths and various service providers
• To create a platform to share information with young people
• To showcase opportunities for the youth
• To showcase youth talent
• To encourage and facilitate youth participation in national development
